Welcome to the Fireman's Challenge at Boston University!

In our first annual PIKE Fireman's Challenge, over 900 people from 13 student groups joined us in our week of competition and fundraising, where we were able to raise over $10,000 for the Boston Firefighters Burn Foundation. Thank you all for your time and support!

Welcome from Pi Kappa Alpha! Boston University's Pi Kappa Alpha (PIKE) Lambda Nu Chapter presents its second annual Fireman's Challenge to raise money for the Boston Firefighters Burn Foundation. Throughout this week-long event teams of students from all over BU's campus will compete in daily activities to earn points while raising money. The events for the week include a LIVE concert, a trivia night, a crossfit games, Capture the Flag Tournament, and a firemen auction; several of the events will even be judged by firemen from the local 718 Boston Fire Department on Boylston Street.
The winning team will co-donate the money raised with us! (Plus you'll get free pizza from Uno's in Kenmore Square and a trophy to prove it). You can sign your team up, make a donation or just buy a shirt at the GSU Link Table. Team sign-ups can be done online anytime before the event (see Teams page). Contact us about custom shirts for your team, teams can finalize and submit designs up until October 7th. We will be selling standard event shirts, collecting donations, and selling raffle tickets all week (10/15-10/19) at the GSU Link (prizes include a free spring break trip, clothes, gift cards and more!) The Fireman's Challenge is a traditional Philanthropy Event for Pi Kappa Alpha. Notably, brothers at the Epsilon Chapter at Virginia Tech and the Delta Alpha Chapter at George Washington hosted the event and raised $15,000 and $25,000 respectively just this past year. So sign up your club, close friends, dorm floor, sports team, whatever it might be!
