In the three years since the creation of PIKE's Fireman's Challenge, over 2,000 people have joined us in our week-long competition to fundraise and raise awareness for the Boston Firefighters Burn Foundation, where to date we have been able to raise over $28,000. Welcome from Pi Kappa Alpha! Boston University's Pi Kappa Alpha (PIKE) Lambda Nu Chapter presents its fourth annual Fireman's Challenge where we will once again partner with the Boston Firefighters Burn Foundation. Throughout this week-long event, teams of students from all across BU's campus will compete in daily activities to earn points while raising awareness and support for the Foundation. The events for the week include a Talent Show, CrossFit Training, Fireman's Auction, and the Fireman's Ball. Several of the events will even be visited and even judged by Firemen from the local 718 Boston Fire Department on Boylston Street.
The winning team will co-donate the money raised with us! (Plus you'll be presented a trophy during the Fireman's Ball!). You can sign your team up, make a donation or just buy a shirt at the GSU Link Table or online. We will be collecting donations and selling raffle tickets all week (10/6-10/10) at the GSU Link (there are will be various prizes available). The Fireman's Challenge is a traditional Philanthropy Event for Pi Kappa Alpha. Notably, brothers at the Epsilon Chapter at Virginia Tech and the Delta Alpha Chapter at George Washington hosted the event and raised $15,000 and $25,000 respectively. Help us reach our goal and donate today at the top of the page! Become a sponsor by sending us your information on our support page! The Fireman's Challenge is open to all students at BU! So sign up your club, close friends, dorm floor, sports team, whatever it might be! Teams should be ten or more people, if you don't have ten, let us know and we'll help match you up with more potential competitors.
